Established in 2011, Saltvu Builders is a family-owned and operated building company with a focus on Architectural Construction, predominantly on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
The director Leigh Neal comes from a Carpentry background starting in 2002. Leigh has a strong practical understanding of the building industry and personally oversees every project from start to completion, along with his highly skilled team. This ensures a very high-level finish and attention to detail on every project.
In collaboration with leading architects and designers, Saltvu’s experienced team work closely with their clients to bring incredibly designed houses to life. Providing their clients with the highest level of customer service, offering expertise and advice throughout all stages of the build, with personal management to project completion and beyond.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Leigh and the Saltvu team, as we set out to fulfil a lifelong dream of building our home by the seaside. From the quoting stage, right through to handover, our experience was very positive, hassle free and a joyous journey. Leigh’s ability to connect with us was uncanny and refreshing. He was fully transparent and as a result built instant rapport with us. He and his team were professional, accommodating, helpful, understanding and customer focussed. Above all they were really nice guys and easy to deal with, especially when challenges arose. There was nothing too difficult and with every problem there were at least 2-3 possible solutions. Their workmanship and finishing was exemplary, which is a testament to their desire for continuous improvement. Saltvu works with a group of excellent tradesmen, from the steel fabricators and installers to the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers, painters, and concreters. They appeared onsite in a skillfully coordinated procession and were guided to contribute their part to the whole. The result, an efficiently constructed, rock-solid house with a high-end finish, delivered to us in immaculate condition. Throughout the build, Leigh was always accessible and accommodating and has been responsive and helpful in follow-up. We would recommend Saltvu Builders without hesitation.
